Brief Job Description:
We are looking for a Logistics Assistant that is organized, positive and dynamic to join our amazing team.
Reporting to the Office Manager, the role of the Logistics Assistant will encompass a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:
- Getting inbound and outbound shipping rates from carriers
- Booking inbound and outbound shipments
- Preparing paperwork for all shipments
- Following up and tracking shipments
- Providing shipping updates to internal and external parties
- Filing shipping claims
Qualifications:
Experience
- 1 or more years in a similar position
Skills
- Bilingual (French & English, written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Ability to take initiative and work well within a team
- Quick learner and a willingness to work outside of comfort zone
Additional Skills (an asset)
- Knowledge of Epicor ERP
Working Conditions:
Work Hours
- 8:00 am-4:30 pm
- Monday to Friday
Salary:
- $40,000.00+ CAD per year
